The Zolotye Peski sanatorium is 30 km from Gomel and 329 km from Minsk. It has 359 beds, five residential buildings, seven cottages, a treatment building, a canteen, a sports complex and summer cabins.
The Zolotye Peski sanatorium is in Gomel District. It stands in a mixed forest next to the Sozh River, just four hundred metres from the main building. The grounds are rich in oaks, birches, pines, spruces, thujas, willows and more.
Zolotye Peski turned 35 in 2015. It was renovated in 2011 and received the first category following certification. It has almost four hundred beds; guests check in from 8 am and check out by 11 pm on the last day of the voucher. A standard stay lasts twelve days. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and can receive the necessary treatment from that age. The grounds cover twenty-two hectares, are guarded around the clock and fenced on all sides.
