Zhemchuzhina (Pearl)
The Zhemchuzhina sanatorium was founded in 1967 and holds the first category following certification. Check-in is from 9 am and check-out by 9 pm. Zhemchuzhina is 3 km from Grodno and 275 km from Minsk.
Grodno District is known for the Zhemchuzhina sanatorium. The resort is surrounded on all sides by an oak grove and stands on the bank of the Neman. The grounds are rich in larches, thujas, junipers and oaks. Following certification the sanatorium was awarded the first category. Zhemchuzhina opened in 1967; it is one of the older sanatoriums in Belarus and welcomes thousands of guests every year. It has 190 beds. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and can receive treatment from that age. Check-in is from 9 am on the first day and check-out by 9 pm on the last day. The grounds cover more than five hectares, are fenced and guarded. It is a wonderful place for families. Guests stay in two buildings, Zhemchuzhina and Zdorovye, and there is also a treatment building and a cottage.
