Vasilyok

The Vasilyok sanatorium was founded almost fifty years ago and has 56 beds. It is exactly 25 km from Gomel and 351 km from Minsk. It has one three-storey residential building, an administrative building, a treatment building and a spa complex.

The Vasilyok health resort is in Gomel District. It stands in a mixed forest right on the bank of the Sozh River, five hundred metres from the main building. The grounds are planted with birches and pines. Vasilyok is one of the oldest sanatoriums in Belarus: it was founded in 1968 and fully renovated a couple of years ago. It has more than fifty beds; guests check in from 8 am on the first day and check out by 8 pm on the last day. A standard stay lasts twelve days. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and receive treatment here too. The grounds cover almost seven hectares, are fenced on all sides and guarded around the clock.
