Sosny (Pines)
The Sosny sanatorium is 18 km from Mozyr, 144 km from Gomel and 310 km from Minsk. It was founded in 1986 and has two residential buildings, a treatment building, a canteen and an indoor swimming pool.
The Sosny sanatorium nestles in a pine forest in Mozyr District of Gomel Region. The Pripyat River is just one hundred and fifty metres from the grounds, which are densely planted with pines and ornamental plants.
The sanatorium was founded almost thirty years ago, and its buildings were fully renovated five years ago. It currently holds the first sanatorium-resort category. It has 136 beds. Guests can check in at any convenient time from 1 pm on the day of arrival; a standard stay lasts twenty-two calendar days. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and can receive treatment from that age. The grounds cover more than nine hectares, are fenced on all sides and guarded.
