Sosnovy Bor (Pine Forest)

The Sosnovy Bor sanatorium was founded more than thirty-five years ago and has 280 beds. It is exactly 36 km from Molodechno and 39 km from Minsk. There is a main building, three residential buildings and a treatment building.

The Sosnovy Bor sanatorium is in Molodechno District of Minsk Region, in a pine forest. About one kilometre away is an artificial lake with waterfalls, fountains and cascades, and an ornamental canal. The lake and canal are surrounded by a water park spread over seven islands linked by suspension bridges; one of the islands has a boat station and a beach. The grounds are mostly planted with birches, spruces, junipers and pines. Sosnovy Bor is one of the older sanatoriums in Belarus, founded in 1980. It has 280 beds; guests can check in at any convenient time from 8 am on the first day of the voucher and check out by 8 pm on the last day. A standard stay lasts twelve calendar days. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and receive treatment here too. The grounds cover almost twenty hectares and are fenced on all sides.
