The sanatorium of the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Railway is located in Gomel itself, 315 km from Minsk. It has a five-storey residential building, an indoor swimming pool and a treatment building.
This health resort of the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Railway is in the very centre of Gomel. The grounds are rich in maples, birches, willows and other trees, and there are lovely gardens with apple, pear and cherry trees. The sanatorium was founded more than fifty years ago and is one of the older health resorts in Belarus. Following certification it holds the first category. It has about two hundred beds, but unfortunately there are no places for children. Treatment is only available for guests aged eighteen and over. The grounds cover about one hectare, are fenced on all sides and guarded.
