Ostroshitsky Gorodok Children's Rehabilitation Hospital

Ostroshitsky Gorodok treats children aged two to seventeen, with a focus on cancer. The hospital also has a hotel building where adults and children are treated on a paid basis.

Ostroshitsky Gorodok, the national children's medical rehabilitation hospital, is in the village of Ostroshitsky Gorodok, Minsk District. It is surrounded by mixed coniferous and deciduous forests right on the shore of Lake Usyazha, just a hundred metres from the main building. The grounds are rich in apple trees, lindens, rowans and ornamental shrubs.

The hospital provides medical care to children aged two to seventeen with oncological and onco-haematological diseases. Children are treated in the presence of their parents or guardians. Attention is also paid to psychological rehabilitation, and schooling is organised for the children: the hospital has eleven classrooms where teaching takes place.

Ostroshitsky Gorodok was founded in 2005 and has 215 beds, 185 of them for children. Check-in is at a convenient time from 9 am on the first day of the voucher, and check-out is by 3 pm on the last day. It is 15 km from Minsk.
