Praleska

The Praleska sanatorium opened in 1986 and holds the second category. It is 8 km from Volkovysk, 254 km from Minsk and 68 km from Grodno. It has a main building, a residential building and a hydrotherapy centre, with 120 beds.

The Praleska sanatorium is in Volkovysk District of Grodno Region, surrounded by mixed forest. About fifty metres away is the artificial Lake Lazurnoye, ringed by pine and mixed forest. The lake is famous because its river water mixes with silica-rich spring water from underground wells. The grounds are rich in willows, pines, oaks, alders, birches and other trees. Praleska opened in 1986 and holds the second sanatorium-resort category. It has more than one hundred beds. Check-in is from 8 am on the first day and check-out by 8 pm on the last day. A standard stay lasts fourteen days. Children aged five and over are accepted as main guests and can receive treatment from that age. The grounds are guarded.
