The Magistralny sanatorium was founded in 1995 and holds the first category. It is located in Baranovichi, 134 km from Minsk and 215 km from Brest. It has three buildings, a hydrotherapy and mud therapy centre, an administrative building, a sports and fitness building and a tennis court.
The Magistralny sanatorium is on the very edge of Baranovichi in Brest Region, in the mixed forest of Gai. About eight hundred metres away is Lake Zhlobinskoye, surrounded by pine and mixed forest. Lake Svityaz is forty metres from the sanatorium, and one of the sanatorium's branches stands on its shore. The grounds are rich in spruces, birches, willows, lindens, roses, lilacs and other plants. It has about two hundred beds. Check-in is from 8 am and check-out by 8 pm. A standard stay lasts fourteen days. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and can receive treatment from that age. The grounds are guarded by the security service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
