Lepel Military Sanatorium

The Lepel military sanatorium is 10 km from Lepel, 67 km from Polotsk, 96 km from Vitebsk and 158 km from Minsk. It opened in 1946 and has 396 beds.

The Lepel military sanatorium is right next to the settlement of Borovka in Lepel District, Vitebsk Region. It stands in a pine forest on an isthmus between two deep lakes, Shchibot and Bobritsa. The grounds are rich in maples, spruces, oaks, pines and other trees. It is one of the oldest health resorts in Belarus, now about seventy years old, and holds the first sanatorium-resort category. About four hundred beds await guests, who check in from 8 am on the first day and check out by 8 am on the last day. A standard stay lasts thirteen calendar days. Children aged four and over are accepted as main guests and can receive treatment from that age. The grounds cover about forty hectares, are guarded and fenced.
