The Chonki sanatorium is in Gomel District, 5 km from Gomel and 300 km from Minsk. It has 450 beds. Check-in and check-out: from 00:00 to 24:00.
Gomel District is known for the famous Chonki sanatorium. It stands in a mixed forest a hundred metres from the Sozh River, among birches, pines and spruces. Chonki was founded more than eighty years ago and holds the first sanatorium-resort category following certification. About four hundred beds await guests, who can check in at any convenient time on the first day and check out by midnight on the last day. Children aged three and over are accepted as main guests and can receive treatment from three. The grounds cover six hectares and are fenced. There are three buildings of four and five storeys, an administrative building, treatment buildings and a canteen.
