Absorbed in the routine of modern life, we often forget to take care of our health. Sometimes the body becomes so weak that we simply can't get off pills, drops, ointments and other medicines. Yet any illness is much easier to prevent than to cure. What could be more harmonious and effective at preventing ailments than natural healing? Fresh air and sunlight are our faithful companions on the path to health, and a holiday in Belarus is a reliable source of natural goodness for your well-being.

The LODE boarding house is a place where you can rest and improve your health at the same time. It is 160 km from Minsk, on an island in the middle of Lake Lepelskoye in Vitebsk Region. The lake has the third-longest shoreline in Belarus. It is up to 36 m deep, with water clear to a depth of 4 m. Lake Lepelskoye is 40 km from the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve, in an ecologically clean area.

In autumn you can pick mushrooms in the forest, and at other times simply wander the paths enjoying the beauty of the local nature. To keep the air clean, the free guarded parking is on the shore rather than on the island itself. Anglers will appreciate fishing on the lake, which has pike, rudd, perch, roach and bream. In the middle of the island there is another small lake where fish are bred especially for the guests.

Guests stay in cosy, well-equipped cottages with a total capacity of 125 people. The boarding house has a canteen-café and a bar decorated in hunting style. They serve national and European cuisine: poultry, seafood, vegetables, game and lake fish.

LODE organises excursions for guests:

· to famous places of the Lepel area;

· to the Berezinsky Reserve;

· to Polotsk and Vitebsk.

The boarding house is comfortable for families with children, who are entertained with discos, games, morning exercises, contests and themed evenings. LODE also has everything needed to accommodate your four-legged pets, so you won't have to part with them during your holiday.

The island has grounds for active sports, a sandy beach with a convenient gentle slope and the "Oak of Happiness", where guests traditionally tie ribbons so that they will come back again.
