Zherelets

A holiday in Belarus is unimaginable without cosy places, refined in their simplicity, where you will feel at home while having a great rest and plenty of pleasant impressions. Deep in Gomel Region, in the primeval thickets of Belarusian Polesie, there is just such a place: a picturesque corner for a wonderful holiday called the Zherelets agro-estate.

The hosts warmly offer guests a wide range of entertainment for every taste. Hunting and fishing are professionally organised, with a motor boat and the necessary tackle provided. There are also unforgettable excursions to Mozyr, Turov and around the Lelchitsy area with a museum visit, a ride in a horse-drawn britzka and a real picnic. In winter snowmobiles, skates and skis are available for hire, and in the warm season there are safaris in UAZ off-road vehicles.

Guests stay in a large cottage with a stove and fireplace and in cabins on the farmstead, which together sleep about 50 people. You can enjoy the bathhouse, sit with friends in a lit gazebo and grill shashlik on the barbecue.

For those looking for active recreation, Zherelets offers:

• quad bike rides
• horse riding and cycling
• air gun and electronic shooting ranges
• table tennis
• billiards

Children can play on the equipped playground with swings and a trampoline and run around on the soft lawn. Adults will enjoy relaxing in hammocks and on sun loungers. The agro-estate also has a bar where guests can enjoy a hookah and compete at karaoke on a big screen. If you wish, you can pitch a tent camp on the grounds of Zherelets.

Celebrations and family evenings are held in two restaurants. The Usadba banquet hall seats 100 people, and the Izba restaurant seats 60. Dishes of Belarusian, Lithuanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and Latvian cuisine are made from clean produce lovingly grown by the hosts. Each house has its own kitchen, and in summer you can set the table right in the gazebo or in a marquee.
