Ivan da Marya

City dwellers absorbed in daily work routines in the dusty, stuffy and grey city sometimes feel unbearably cramped and want to break free. Not everyone can spend the weekend at their grandmother's in the village enjoying all the benefits of rural life. But don't despair: Belarus, a land of lakes, forests and fields, has plenty of places for a country holiday. One of them is the Ivan da Marya agro-estate, not far from the Belarusian capital, in Logoisk District of Minsk Region.

Here you can rent a comfortable cottage for 10 to 12 people and have a great time outdoors with family, friends or colleagues. Additional services for guests include:

• use of a washing machine;
• Wi-Fi;
• karaoke and a music system;
• a barbecue area;
• a cosy gazebo;
• satellite TV;
• a hookah.

A stay at this estate lets you forget the usual city bustle for a while. You can enjoy the bathhouse and relax in the sauna to your heart's content, and walk in the picturesque forest. Lake Ostroshitskoye is nearby, where you can swim and fish. In winter there is ice fishing, sledging and skiing.

In summer there are bike tours to Raubichi, the national Olympic training centre. Guests can also take excursions to historical sites connected with the war years: the Stalin Line historical and cultural complex, the Khatyn memorial complex and tours of Minsk.

For special occasions the hosts offer a banquet hall. The estate also hosts conferences, seminars and scientific meetings. Children and even pets feel comfortable here. Ivan da Marya has a pet hotel, a trend in modern tourism services, where your pets get regular walks, careful care and attention.

The hosts can also organise a game of paintball, a popular activity for adults and children. Instructors will help guests play safely and have fun, and all the necessary equipment is provided.
